Monday Morning Minute
January 24, 2022
I just published this week’s Monday Morning Minute:
We all believe we are wise, about more than we are, and automatically clever at all those many things we didn’t bother to consider. We get it backwards often, thinking we are brilliant when we’ve had success at something. And, as equal folly, assuming we are truly dumb when we’ve had a failure at something. Worse than making false assumptions is to move onward from each success or failure without examination; a post-mortem essential, recognizing our victory might be overstated or incorrect and learning too, that any particular failing was a pivotal stepping stone on our inevitable path to success.
