Whatever failure we’ve had, or however long ago we failed, we can always try again, try one more time. To continue the trying, for just one more time, when we’ve failed at something is a daunting task of recognizing the decision to quit or not is wrapped up inside the belief we have, the faith we have, in our capacity to make things work. It is no different if we are plugging along on a startup, going through the motions in a relationship, or struggling over whether to fire someone or not. We only fail when we’ve given up hope.
